Being cute is not enough for kids curtains because kids play hard.
The curtains need to be sturdy while at the same time can give the soothing darkness to comfort them.
You can make children's curtains effective in encouraging sleep by using simple tab top or rod pocket panels with blackout linings to block enough sunlight.
To completely darken the room, use lightweight fabrics and pair them with a blind.
Busy parents should go for easy care kids window curtains such as durable and machine washable cotton or polyester blend.
Addition of flannel for the comfortable feel is also popular.
Complete the nursery with bright-colored fabric and muslin-lined curtain.
Children curtain with vivid color such as pink, lime green or blue will brighten up the playroom or bedroom.
Toys like roosters, dolphins, teddy bear, penguins and bugs or airplanes and trains can add more fun. Bed linens, comforters, wall coverings and rugs will be a complement that they will love.

Choosing The Perfect Colour For Your Room
Reason

Choosing a colour for a room needs to consider the room decor, the walls, the lighting and the usage of the room.
Instead of getting the right look and feel, the wrong colour choice can make the room look dark and depressing. You can consider these tips to help you out, especially for a small bedroom:
1. Look for a light colour
Light color can help in making the small room looks and feels wide and big.
On the contrary, the dark color tends to make the room feels even smaller.
Don't rush, take your time to pick the right colour because even certain light colours have certain impact on size than others.
For simple rule, you can pick white as the main theme or background. As it progress, you can add any tone that is interesting, be it pink, yellow, or even blue.
2. How are you going to use the room?
Light pastel, like a soft yellow, pale pink or very light blue is suitable for nursery purposes.
As mentioned, many variations of white can flexibly fit many purposes. White with a touch of soft yellowish white can provide a warm, cozy feeling and a soft blue paint will give a sense of a cooler feel.
3. The lighting
After choosing the paint color, now we can consider lighting. In line with the light color, you should prioritize natural lighting.
This requires good knowledge of direction and seasonal changes to determine the position of the sun relative to the room.
For example, the south side of the house receives plenty of sun, so it will be naturally warm and inviting. Be certain to make sure that the room is not positioned in the basement for it will make it more difficult to brighten up the room.

Modern Pillows To Decorate Your Rooms
Reason

In the hands of textile and graphic designer Emily Goodwin Wong, pillows become more than just a cushion or simply an addition to a couch.
By combining watercolor paintings and digital manipulations she comes up with geometric patterns, organic shapes and the blend of colors that create certain moods with fabric, as Emily herself describes:
“My prints combine watercolor dye painting and computer design, and have a warm, ethnic and geometric vibe. The fabric is digitally printed in North Carolina with a method that uses less ink than traditional printing, making it a more environmentally friendly technology. It also allows for printing millions of colors, allowing the designs to have rich depth and detail. The pillow covers are available on their own, or with inserts. The inserts are handmade using kapok – a soft-as-down, hypoallergenic, and resilient fiber.”
The idea is basically simple, which starts with scanning the watercolor paintings into Photoshop so that it is feasible for alteration and manipulation.
The result is layers perfect for a repeating fabric.
The fabric material is found locally at places like The Quilt Store or The Stitch Lab.
You can purchase Emily's pillows at her Etsy store.

How To Find The Best Way To Decorate Your Bedroom

Taste, need, and budget are things that come to mind when you plan to design a personal bed room.
Due to its importance, it should start from you, what you want to feel when you spend your time in there.
Should functionality become the main consideration, or the aesthetic?
Or even both.
Whenever possible, it's more flexible to start from scratch so that there are plenty of opportunities for you to indulge your creativity.
These are things that will help you design your ultimate personal bed room, we also includes some photos to give you inspiration.
1.Start from the basic, how do you want it to be? Should it be modern minimalist, classic, retro, or any other style?
2.Color theme. It's the general impression one gets when entering your room, in this case, your favorite should do just fine. Any addition must be carefully though, so that it can go well with the main color theme.
3.Lighting. Start with the natural lighting; the angle and the direction from which the outside light comes through. This might be subject to the seasonal change and may effect other aspects such as humidity, wind direction, etc. Having considered that, now it's time to arrange the electric light. What you need to take into account is how bright you want it to be, or even better, you can choose lighting mechanisms that enable you to change the level of brightness and color combination.
4.Let's go gown to the floor. It mainly involves the choice of material. Different material can have different feel and effect to your room. Wooden floor gives the warm sense. Other material may also be good choice, such as ceramic, granite, etc.
5.The wall should fit the theme color. Wallpaper can do a lot of help due to its flexibility.
6.There are myriad choices for the furniture; the material, the color, and the shape. Your creativity should know what fits best. Considering the light, color theme, the wall, the furniture choice will add to the comfortable room. The same principles also apply for other decorative items.
7.Take your daily activities into account. It means that you have to answer how you are going to use the room. For example, do you need it to be softly lit, relaxing, and calm because most of the time, you go to your room after day-long work. Again, this is personal and can be varied among individuals.
8.Now, it's the air. Consider the intake and the outtake. How air flow in your room is affected by the direction, size, and apparatus of the window, door, and perhaps even the ceiling. This consideration comes together with the lighting, even though light and air may behave differently. Generally you don't want your room to be too windy, but at the same time you need fresh, cooling air.
9.The placement of electric apparatus. Safety, functionality, and practicality are things to bear in mind. This has a lot to do with your activities. It's easier to arrange the electricity set up based on routine activities.
